Live from New Jersey!

Well, we did it! We finally moved to NJ. Sorry for no blog entries lately, but we've been getting settled. We moved on May 15th. The babies are loving the extra space to roam and mommy and daddy are loving the extra space to live in. We finally have a full size refrigerator that is already filled up with goodies from Costco and Trader Joe's. Victor is learning about fun things like mowing the lawn and I am learning about fun things like taking the garbage out. Neither one of us has lived in a house in over 10 years!

Teddy and Taylor had to make some calls to let their friends know that we have moved.

Bubbe discovered that feeding babies without a highchair is a difficult task.

So Bubbe and Zippy got them these fantastic new highchairs. Now they can eat in style.

We're 10 Months Old!

The babies are 10 months old today! I can't believe how close we are to the big "1". Taylor just learned how to clap and Teddy is getting closer and closer to crawling. He gets in position and rocks back and forth. We are trying all sorts of new fun foods. Taylor will eat just about anything (she takes after her dad), but Teddy is more like his mom (translation: he's a very picky eater).

Over the weekend, we went to the California Pizza Kitchen. Teddy slept through the whole meal, but Taylor was having the time of her life in a high chair. She smiled and talked to everyone who passed by. She especially loved the CPK bread.

Teddy has become quite the mover, even though he doesn't crawl yet. He managed to wiggle out of the swing. I captured his escape on film. It was so cute!

Today, Teddy and Taylor were helping me pack. They love playing in the boxes. Victor says that putting the babies in boxes doesn't count as packing.

Bobbing for Puffs

Teddy and Taylor love their Gerber Puffs. The problem is, Teddy can't feed himself the puffs (but Taylor can). Teddy doesn't get that he can pick them up and put them in his mouth, so he tries to bring his mouth to the puffs. Here is a super cute video of the twins using their different strategies to get the puffs. Notice how Taylor seems to go for the puffs that are in front of Teddy. At one point she steals his puff and laughs for the camera. Poor Teddy gave up eventually, but don't worry, I fed him some puffs after the video. After all, he was working so hard!

Teddy & Taylor visit the MOMA

Bubbe wanted to take the babies to see an exhibit on color at the Museum of Modern Art so we went on Friday, April 25th. The color exhibit wasn't so great, but they had another exhibit called "Design and the Elastic Mind" that the babies LOVED. There were interactive exhibits with lights and other visual displays. After we saw those exhibits we took the babies to see some of the classics.

Here they are appreciating Van Gogh's Starry Night:

Then we stopped to admire a Picasso:

We paused to see some of Monet's famous waterlillies:

After the MOMA, we decided to stop by daddy's office because he works very close to the museum. Taylor wanted to help daddy work.
